We lived in paradise, surrounded by mountains...
How can I begin to thank all of you for the incredible experience we had in Costa Rica? All of you touched my heart in a very real way. I witnessed the wide scope of human endurance, true strength in the face of what so many will never experience. To willingly go without food for 21 days, to put your faith in your own body’s ability to heal, to hold true to your convictions even when tested by strong emotions, less than supportive friends, the medical model, and possibly your own fears, each of you achieved success in your fast.
We interns were fortunate to share the trials and triumphs of the fast. I’ve never met a group of more compassionate, capable and intelligent people. I couldn’t have survived half as well without the support of the other interns, each of you helped me in some way along this journey, a kind word, some hearty laughter, a shoulder, a walk around the loop together, squats and lunges before meals, these moments I’ll remember always. I see great things for each of you, the future of natural hygiene rests in you and all those who choose to acknowledge how we humans fit so well into the natural web of life.
Doug and Lennie deserve many thanks for continuing to believe in what they teach enough to bring us together to see the truth for ourselves, and experience the true nature of healing. It’s not everyone who can consistently practice a low fat raw diet and lifestyle and lecture about the benefits in the face of criticism and disbelief. The fact is that there are many people who appreciate and find the information useful. My hope is that this information becomes more readily accessible, that many people can benefit from Dr. Graham’s books and lectures, and those who precede him in this field. A heart-felt Thank you for all of your work and for encouraging me and hosting me at the fast, and please keep on teaching all of us.

PS- I LOVE YOU ALL!
